Remember, if you are going to sell/trade you need to register. There will be a float tank available, but space is limited. If we know how many bags you are bringing we can make accommodations. Let us know as soon as possible either way. Don't be left "holding the bag".

Less than 9 weeks and counting.

Hey Greg,

If we would only be looking to mayeb trade some frags we bought with us and not sell them, do we need to register. If so, I am planning on bringing some frags with me, but only for trade. I may sell them is I don't find a suitable trade though. Just want to understand all my options. I will bring mine in their own styro container. Thanks!

[edited]You will need to register if you sell or trade at this event.[edited]

If you just bring in a few frags for sale or trade you can put them in the float tank. No registration for that. For those choosing this option, please let us know approximately how many bags you will bring. If we don't get any feedback the float tank may be too small and no guarantee that there will be enough room in it.

Thanks Greg, but I will just bring mine in their own container with only my water in it. I do not want to take any chances on someone bringing in corals with problems and the water from the float tank getting into a bag of my corals I would then bring back home to my tank. I know it is possible to not get those plastic bags all the way closed sometimes and I remember how many corals were in the float tank the last frag swap. It was a bunch. I will take proper precautions with anything I trade for anyway, but no sense in chancing infecting my own corals I bring if I don't need to. Just trying to keep my tank disease and pest free as it is now. Thanks for the info though.

I want to thank everyone who submitted an idea to name the event.

We are looking for volunteers to work and help organize the upcoming frag swap in mid-October.
Please contact any NMS officer if you are interested.
Thank you.
