I was there the other day and I didn't see no white hairy clam. :? They do get some nice ones every now and then.

The small Maximas are ORA clams (aquacultured, esp ORA are usually more expensive)....The "best color" have been picked through right now as we did the ORA order a little while back....I don't think they have "no color" though, all are shades of blue I believe, all clams look best from the top...did you view them from that way? (we haven't gotten any new clams in recently so I know there are no brown ones)... you get 20% off with your club pet card and NMS membership (if you are a member). But...it's a free world (that's the beauty of it), and that's your opinion...so choose to shop where you'd like! Definitely!! :D

p.s. Did you talk to AJ?? Sometimes if something has been there a little while longer, he can give you a better deal, it just depends though. I'll let him know about this post so he can possibly adjust pricing if need be. ;)

Funny, living in Lincoln, I actually PREFER going to Omaha (Petland most of the time) to buy my reef inhabitants...especially clean up crew which The Fish Store charges ridiculous prices for (snails 3 for $8....seriously????)
